BecVar Project

One of my most meaningful accomplishments to date has been being selected for the BecVar Artist in Residency Award. This award encourages undergraduate artists to explore the intersection of art and the health sciences through creative practice.

My project, A Nurses’ Pantheon, is a series of abstract digital illustrations that draw inspiration from Greco-Roman mythology, traditions, emotions, and ideals. Through this work, I connect classical themes with the lived experiences of modern nursing students—exploring how they think, feel, and serve within their profession. By blending ancient symbolism with contemporary perspectives on healthcare, the project reflects the resilience, humanity, and dedication that define the nursing field.
